Vision and Mission

Our Vision
Just 25 miles east of where our team has just graduated college there is a heart breaking amount of people who do not know and have not heard the good news Isaiah speaks of in chapter 40 verses 28-31. Many of the city’s neighborhoods are riddled with crime, gang violence, poverty, and drugs but ultimately the biggest concern is that young men and women are growing up in this environment without the knowledge that our Savior loves them and will redeem even the worst brokenness they face. Our vision is to see the city transformed from violence, brokenness, and suffering to a place of shalom. So many in the city are in desperate need of their savior and our vision is to spread His gospel and make disciples by being a light in the darkness so that the hope of Christ will reign in their hearts.

Our Mission
To accomplish this we are partnered with Lawndale Community Church and will be living in the Lawndale neighborhood to serve in the church and community. Beyond this we have all been placed through God’s providence at local high schools where we will serve as coaches and chaplains to high school sports teams as a way to make disciples among the athletes and coaches at these schools.
